ABOUT — CARLOS SICILIA

Carlos Sicilia is Franco-Spanish and grew up in Paris in a family of artists and interior decorators. Immersed in this creative environment from an early age,

he studied art history and specialized in the art market, which led him into the worlds of galleries and auction houses.

He gradually focused on contemporary art and traveled extensively in Asia, where he discovered China’s rapidly emerging art scene in the early 2010s. During this period, he met Chinese artists and architects developing projects that brought together art and architecture.

Upon returning to Paris, Carlos Sicilia joined Liaigre in 2014, where he developed

a program of exhibitions and artistic collaborations as a curator.

Drawing on his knowledge of the international contemporary art world, Carlos Sicilia works closely with galleries and artists, private collectors, and leading figures in the art market.
